Fighter
You thought me an obedient, simpering bitch
That would come crawling back to her master
With unconditional devotion.
Oh, how wrong you were.
You clearly didn't know me at all:
For I am more shewolf
Than domesticated girl.
After the initial shock,
I built myself back up
Brick by miniscule brick.
And when you came crawling back to me,
Expecting me to say "How high?",
My bark was just as bad
As my bite.
You snapped, and you snarled,
But you eventually cowered before the inevitable.
I was not coming back.
I was never coming back.
You had fucked up,
And lost me forever.
You never deserved me;
Shamefully it took me until after
Enduring all of you
